Noel, joy, peace—- just a few of the words that describe our holiday season. But there’s another word that is poignant for what we leave behind in 2020 and what is ahead in 2021.

That word is Hope.

We may not know what is ahead for the freedoms we hold so dear, but we have hope because those who tirelessly defend our civil liberties continue to persevere.

As we reflect on the advent after a year of uncertainty, we know that hope past and hope present will move us forward and make us stronger.
